Bloomless

Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 7, 2026

This page explains what personal data I collect, why, and what you can do about it. I keep it short and simple.

Who I am

I am Mateusz Sieprawski, a solo game developer working as Masie Games in Poland. I make the game Bloomless. I am responsible for your data.

This website

This website has no cookies, no ads and no analytics.

Emails to creators

I contact YouTube and Twitch creators who play games like Bloomless. I offer them access to the game so they can make videos about it.

What I collect: your name or channel name, a link to your channel, the business email you published on your channel, public channel facts (like subscriber count and language), and my notes.

Where it comes from: your public channel page on YouTube or Twitch.

Why: to send you a personal email about Bloomless and to answer your reply. The legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)): I want to tell creators about my game, and you made this email public for business contact.

I checked that this is fair to you: it is one personal email about games, which is the kind of content you make, and you can stop it with a one-word reply. If you object, I stop. You don't need to give a reason.

How I send: I write from my own Google Workspace mailbox, like normal email. I don't track if you open my email or click its links.

How many: one email, and at most one short follow-up if you don't reply.

How long I keep it: at most 2 years after my last email to you, unless we keep working together. If you unsubscribe or ask me to stop, I delete your data and keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list, so I never write to you again.

To stop emails: just reply "unsubscribe" or "stop", or use your email app's unsubscribe button.

You don't have to give me any data. If you don't reply, nothing happens.

The game (optional feedback data)

The Bloomless demo asks on first launch if you want to share playtest data. It is off unless you say yes. You can turn it off at any time in the game settings. Turning it off deletes the data that is still waiting on your computer.

If you say yes, the game sends: a random ID (not linked to your name), a nickname if you choose one, how long you played, how far you got in the game, the game version, your system (OS, CPU, GPU, screen size, language), and any feedback you write in the game with a screenshot of the game.

Why: to find bugs and make the game better. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can take it back at any time in the settings. This does not change what was sent before.

Age: please only turn this on if you are 16 or older. If you are younger, ask a parent first.

Where it goes: to my own server, behind Cloudflare. Your IP address is used only to block spam and is not stored.

How long I keep it: at most 2 years after your last game session, then I delete it. To delete it sooner, email me your nickname or roughly when you played.

The game is downloaded from itch.io. itch.io has its own privacy policy for your itch.io account and downloads.

Who else sees your data

I do not sell your data and I don't share it with anyone for their own use. Only these services handle it for me: Cloudflare (website and game server), and Google (email and fonts). They are US companies. When data leaves the EU, they protect it with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or EU standard contract clauses.

I don't use your data for automated decisions or profiling.

Your rights

You can ask me to:

Just write to [email protected]. It is free. I will answer within 30 days.

If you think I handle your data wrong, you can complain to the Polish data protection office (UODO, uodo.gov.pl) or the office in your country.

Changes

If I change this policy, I will update this page and the date at the top.
